At UH SHRM, we host numerous professional development events, including mock interviews and resume workshops. Through these events, our members gain more knowledge and preparation for the business world while networking with the professionals who host these events. |
Corporate Events

Corporate visits provide members with the opportunity to network with professionals while understanding how the company operates on a daily basis. This is an amazing way to be considered for employment, with several of our members having received job offers from these visits. With our corporate info sessions, our members will learn how a company conducts their business from a guest speaker. This is another way for members to expand their network and to learn more about an industry they may be interested in.

Our community service events are a great way to give back to the community. Whether it is in person or online, members are sure to leave with a sense of pride and accomplishment by helping those in need. Plus, these events are great for building your resume! |
Socials

Socials are an awesome way to interact with other members in a more relaxed setting. Through these events, members are able to build new friendships and have fun through the activities we provide. Our most awaited event is our end-of-semester banquet, where members gather for an unforgettable night of food, socializing, and picture-taking. Everyone who attends is sure to make some amazing memories! |
Fundraisers

Come out to our bakes sales in Melcher Hall where we offer some baked goods and delicious snacks. This is a fun way to collaborate with our members and serve our fellow students! All items are donated by UH SHRM members in order for UH SHRM to gain 100% of the profits so we may continue to provide our members with great opportunities. Throughout the semester, members are also able to purchase raffle tickets to win some awesome prizes! We also host restaurant fundraisers, where members are able to purchase food from a restaurant, with a portion of the proceeds going to UH SHRM.
